The Instacart app gives you the power to get groceries, household items, and more delivered the same-day. At this time gift cards can only be purchased, sent, and redeemed within the same country that you live in. To redeem a gift card with the Instacart app— 1. Sign up for Instacart or log into your existing account 2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner 3. Tap Credits, promos & gift cards 4. Tap Add promo or gift card 5. Enter the code and tap Add to Account To redeem a gift card through the Instacart website— 1. Sign up for Instacart or log into your existing account 2. At the top left, click the 3 horizontal lines 3. Click Add Promo or Gift Card 4. Enter the code and click Add to account 5. The gift card is added to your account and applies automatically on your next order. After you place your next order, any remaining gift card balance is added to your account as an Instacart credit and applied to your next order. Add gift card at checkout 1. You can add a gift card at checkout two ways— - On the checkout page, select the gray down arrow to the right of your payment method on the checkout page. Then select Add gift card - Select Add promo or gift card right above Place Order 2. Enter the gift card code included in the email we sent you 3. Select Continue In the Instacart gift card line in your subtotal, you’ll see your gift card applied to your current order. Any remaining balance shows in your account under Gift card credit and applies to your next order. Instacart cash gift cards cover the costs related to an order, such as items, including alcohol and prescriptions, tips, taxes, service fees, and delivery fees. They can be paired with other Instacart credits or promo codes you may have on your account. Currently, placing an order with a gift card from multiple retailers at one time is not possible. If you would like to use your gift card balance at another retailer, you will need to place a new order.
